Having spent a decade in the fitness industry training coaches, athletes, and the general population and being an athlete my whole life, as I began my journey, I came across many Healthy food products about what it means to eat well. Some claimed they had the answers to staying healthy and performing their best. But as I learned more about these, I realized that things weren’t as simple as they seemed.

We often see ads for packaged food products that promise to make us healthier. They show colorful fruits and vegetables, talk about superfoods, and suggest that eating these foods will make us live longer. But when we look closer, we see that the truth is more complicated.

In our efforts to be healthy, we’re sometimes tricked by marketing. Words like “natural,” “organic,” and “superfood” sound good, but do they really mean the food is good for us, or are they just trying to sell us something?
